6.0 Software Release
 

Hi All

Below is DisplayLink's software release v6.0. This release is primarily targeted at the new DL-3x00 family of chips coming from DisplayLink. However it also works with our previous DL-1x0 and DL-1x5 families.

DisplayLink Software Release R6.0 delivers the following features:

• Support for DisplayLink DL-3000 series:
  • USB3 input
  • DL3 compression
  • Dual Head support
  • High resolution support (WQXGA: 2560x1600)
  • Ethernet (10/100/GigE)
  • Audio (up to 6 channels)
• Windows 7 GUI improvements
• Video performance improvements for all DisplayLink products

We have done internal testing on this release, but as always we would be interested in the testing from our beta forum members to see if there are any issues on particular system or compatibility issues with current products in the field.
