Basic Resolution 2540x1440 doesn't show up
 

I don't know how to debug this, or where to find the additional logs.
Though here I have a machine that doesn't offer the 2560x1440 resolution of the monitor. The highest I am offered that works is 2048x1152. The 2560x1080 is also possible, but then the screen ratio is ugly. 1920x1440 is also on offer.

So these are the resolutions xrandr also shows. Why doesn't it see the maximum?
