Network Adapter error NCM device not starting

Hi,
I've installed the DisplayLink USB graphics software for my new Dell XPS 13 (with Targus USB 3.0 Superspeed docking station), and I keep getting the following error for the network adapter - DisplayLink Network Adapter NCM #3: "This device cannot start. (Code 10) {Operation Failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful." It's a new install of Windows 8.1 (i.e. not an upgrade from Windows 8) and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling (together with the cleaner program) several times but without success. I have also had this same dock working with an older XPS 13 with Windows 8 and 8.1, with no issues. Would appreciate your help. Support log attached. Thanks, Ali |
Full system reset and reinstallation of the DL software seems to have done the trick. Not the best solution, but there you go...
