Windows 7 plugable adapter
 

I recently did a repair install to my windows 7 computer, my adapter has worked fine until this repair install last night..

Now, when I plug in the adapter, it will flash but wont stay lit up.

My screen will flash like its changing the settings but when it finishes, my 2nd monitor remains black. I have checked device manager hardware IDs and services... both are showing the Plugable adapter and all seems like it is installed correctly, but it is still a black screen.

What do i do?

can you check that you are in Windows Aero graphics mode rather than basic:

If that doesn't solve it, then we will need the logs.
