E1659Fwu Color Cycling
Hello,
Once my USB display crashes and begins cycling the dreaded RED, GREEN, BLUE "searching" for signal. The DisplayLink Manager goes to lunch, no display detected... Other than having to REBOOT, which is a pain because when I'm fully engaged in work; rebooting is 10 minute plus routine, getting all my individual development suites, Visual Studio, SQL, w/VPN access up and running again is a lengthy process. Is there a method I can adopt to shorten the resurrection of my USB display short of rebooting?!? Thank You Brad |
Hello,
Can you please post what your OS is. If your using windows 10, are you using the insider builds? Also the Displaylink Driver you are using. Computerg767 |
Hello,
Running Windows 7(64) with version 8.0.483.0, not aware of any insider builds. Thank You Brad |
Hello,
Would you please have the log files available? I'd like to see if there are some USB communication issues. That could come from a loose connection, faulty cable, or monitor. After a while when there are too many USB communication errors, Windows gives up and ignores the device. My forum signature shows how to collect the logs. |
