Macbook Pro Charging issue with HP Universal USB A/C G2 dock
 

I experience a charging issue with my Macbook Pro 16" 2019 and the HP Universal USB A/C G2 dock. I've learned that the charging is not related to the DisplayLink drivers etc., but I could see some in the forum has had similar issue using a Dell dock.

Does anyone else having the HP G2 dock and experiencing charging issues, and maybe have managed to solve it?

The issue is that the dock is sometimes charging the computer, and sometimes not. I just got the dock so I haven't tested it thouroughly yet, but one theory is that it stops charging when it reaches 100%, and then it is very hard to force charging again (I have not found the pattern yet on how to make it charge again).

It is displayed as connected to a charger, but does not charge, see attached screenshot.
