Monterey keeps losing track of my monitor
 

Hi, My Dell 27" 2k HDMI monitor works fine until OSX powers down displays (after screensaver starts).
When I resume, DisplayLink Manager will report "No monitor". I have to power cycle the adapter (which kills my network connection too :-( ) and then the manager will report "Monitor detected". But OSX still won't start using the screen until I go to Display preferences, where it will show 3 monitors in use, but the DisplayLink connected screen stays blank until I do something to make it reset what it thinks is going on (like opening the laptop lid or changing resolution) and then the screen will power up.

I never had any problems at all under Big Sur...

I am running the latest DisplayLink Manager from https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ownloads/macos
(version 1.5).
Hardware is sd3500v - reported as "Kensington USB3 2X video dock"

Any ideas?
