DisplayLink V10 Issues
 

When installing the latest V10 DisplayLink drivers on a Surface Pro some (but not all) machines fail to install the display drivers.

The error is on the InstallIndirectDisplayDriverPackage custom action and the return codes are given as 2265 and -2147287035.

No errors are displayed on screen. The custom action does not generate a log as far as I can tell.

Any suggestions about what this error could represent and how we can go about diagnosing and fixing the problem?
