Does DL driver work with macOS latest update

UPDATE 10 Nov 21

DL 1.5.0 on macOS 12.01 occasionally would move or swap between screens my opened windows when is waking up from sleep hence have to wait for all screens to wake up properly before logging in. One of DL monitors keep resetting its set background clolour back to default image from time to time. My MBA 13 M1 has also crashed a couple of times i.e. it completely froze, briefly flased pink-ish colour then rebooted. I've had this once or twice prior upgrading from Bug Sur and previous DL version but now it had happened 3 times last week. Apart from that no other issues.
UPDATE: 04 Nov 21

Updated to macOS Monterey 12.0.1 on MBA M1 and so far all is working fine if not better with DL 1.5 Release: 1.5 | Sep 8, 2021 (still no screen rotation on M1).

UPDATE: 03 Nov 21

My 3 monitors are working as before on 11.6.1. I'm not using screen rotation as I have converted my setup of Dells 1 x 49 " + 3 x 25" to horizontal so please test and let us know although from this thread it appears screen rotation is still not working on M1 machines - https://www.displaylink.org/forum/sh...2844#post92844.

UPDATE 28/07/21

Just updated macOS to 11.5.1 and my 1 x Dell 49" native and 3 DL monitors are still wortking fine (using in horizontal mode). There's been occasional macOS crashes for the past 1.5 months though but am not sure if this is DL or just macOS related (no time to dig deeper atm).

PREVIOUS UPDATES

Just updated my macOS to 11.4 with DL 1.4 installed and all is working well on my 3 x 2K monitors via DL driver apart from missing screen rotation options in Preferences > Displays for my DL monitors hence couldn't test it. However, one user reported no HiDPI above resolution 1920x1080 as below:

Low res 4k is available but other than that no other HiDPI resolutions above 1920x1080.

Many thanks,

11.2.1 seems to be fine with Displaylink 1.2

I can confirm DLM 1.3.0 (Build 56.111) M1 native is working fine on macOS 11.2.1 (20D74) on MacBook Air 2020 M1.

The screen rotation still hasn't been fixed.

I'm using Big Sur Beta 11.3. New driver is not working with this OS. I have a MacBook Pro and an Acer monitor. All was fine before I installed the new 1.3 driver. Tried going back to 1.2 driver and still no display on my Acer.

I'm currently on macOS 11.2.3 (20D91) and DL driver 1.3 using the following monitors:

3 x Dell U2515H via DL drivers and StarTech USB 3.0 to DisplayPort External Video Card Adapter 2560x1600 USB32DPPRO hardware
1 x Dell U4919DW via provided by Dell bi-directional USB-C cable (it's the only allowed native external display up to 6K and is charging my MB Air M1 2020 at the same time even when turn off the monitor - there's settting in the monitor that allows it / sort of power pass-though).

The above setup is still working fine and only very occasional wake up from sleep problems.

Cheers,
David

ps. thanks for confirming Beta problms - will avoid updates until confirmed working by others.

Latest update to Big Sur beta on March 24th and again, not working with Acer Monitor on my MacBook Pro.

Can anyone confirm current DL driver works fine on M1 on macOS Big Sur 11.3 11.3 before I press Install Now button?

Cheers,
David

I installed Big Sur 11.3 on MBpro M1 and now DL only allows 1920x1080 on an LG 4K screen  So I'd say no. Annoying as its been in Beta for ages, no warnings from DL...

I confirm the following configuration works including clamshell mode. I have three monitors - 2 x 24" 1080p via D6000, 1 x 32" 1440p via Anker USB C hub

MacBook Ar (M1, 2020)
Big Sur 11.3
DisplayLink Manager 1.3.0 (build 56.111)
Anker USB C Hub, PowerExpand 8-in-1
Dell D6000

Below is how I connect them together.

MacBook Air =(via TB4 port)=> Anker with PD adapter, 1 x 1440p monitor, ethernet =(via USB C data port)=> D6000 with 2 x 1080p monitors

I hope this helps.
