Display link, please help.
I need to get 10 moniters working. I can't find a specific limit in any documintaion. The only info I can find with respect to limits are bassed on processor speed. So under that assumption I bought a brand new duel core computer to run a demonstration thinking that 10 small 7" moniters would be no problem. As it's only about 4 million pixels.
Now I find this may not be the case at all and I can't make a single computer recognize more then 6 moniters. Do I have any options besides buying another computer to run the other 4? Thanks, |
Hi hal
All our software has always been set to allow up to 6 devices. This should be clear on our website, and it is in the release notes, under "Supported Hardware" http://www.displaylink.com/filestore...ease_notes.txt We have found issues with system resources above 6 screens and we're not looking to increase this limit in the near future. Windows display properties only supports up to 10 displays. Unfortunately the only solution today is to use 2 PCs to run 10 USB montiors. Wim |
Thanks for the prompt response. At least I have a direction to go in now.
