Mavericks/StarTech USB32DVIPro Multi Monitor Issues

HI

I have the Retina Macbook Pro with 6 displays that previous worked seemless before i upgraded to Mavericks. 2 Via Thunderbolt & 4 with the USB 3 to DVI StarTech Adapters. USB32DVIPro

I can get 1 of the USB 3 Adapters to run ok along with the 2 thunderbolts, the rest show in the System Preferences/Display/Arrangement but are just black screens and the monitor doesn't registered its attached to the computer.

Any ideas?

Thanks

James

Something to try, though I can't guarantee it will fix it:

1) Download the non-beta 2.1 drivers released November 1st.

2) Run the DisplayLink Software Uninstaller.app to completely remove the current (and any previous) DisplayLink Drivers. (Then Reboot)

3) Run DisplayLink Software Installer.pkg to re-install the latest drivers.

4) Open Finder, go to Applications -> Utilities and run Disk Utility.app, select your Mavericks partition (Typically Macintosh HD unless you've renamed it) then click the Repair Disk Permissions button. When completed, reboot one more time.

With any luck, hopefully this will resolve your issue.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately it didn't work.

Sorry i didnt make it clear i had already downloaded the latest drivers this morning, the only thing i hadn't done was to repair permissions.

I did the repair and managed to get the new screen i plugged in to fire up just briefly but then it went back to 3 screens and each screen would randomly flicker every couple of seconds. As each one flickered it would disappear from the display arrangement screen.

It seems not to like more than 1 USB adapter plugged in the same time.
