Display Link Driver shows up in Disabled Software
 

I installed 1.2. I was NOT prompted at install or any time after to allow the software to be installed in Security and Privacy settings (even though it lists "no use consent"). It shows up in Disabled Software. I have used the uninstaller to completely remove it. I have manually removed it by deleting every single file shown in another thread providing instructions to uninstall it. I have also uninstalled it using Clean My Mac. No matter how many times I install it and uninstall it, it never disappears out of Disabled Software. I cannot use my device as long as the driver is in the Disabled Software list.

I am using Catalina, version 10.15.6.

I get the same issue. Just tried installing v1.2 on Big Sur 11.2.

The StarTech USB32HD4K is not even recognized at all.
