DLink ACP70USZ not working with Surface Book
1 Attachment(s)
I have a Targus ACP70USZ that stopped showing the monitors connected. The Mouse Keyboard and all other devices work fine just no Monitors. One connected HDMI and the other DVI. I am using the USB3 cable to the Surface Book's USB3 port. Windows 10 v1607 OS build 14393.447. Logs attached

Hello,
There is no DisplayLink device detected by Windows. So Windows doesn't even try to find a driver. That's why this is not a driver problem. The other devices you mention working are all USB2.0. Can you try a USB3.0 device on that hub or can you try to use a USB2.0 cable (or use a USB2.0 port) to plug the Targus ACP70 to your Surface. Also, could you please give me the ITEM# at the bottom of the unit? Kind regards, Alban |

Thanks for the reply. I can plug a USB 3 device in and it works just fine. I also tried a USB2 cable from the dock to my surface book and get the same results. Please see the attached with the requested info.

You're welcome.
Thank you for the additional information. Unfortunately, your dock has a hardware issue with the USB hub, I believe. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer, Targus, for hardware support. I suggest you mention that you have an ACP70 ITEM#60 which doesn't appear in Device Manager. Kind regards, Alban |
