DisplayLink Forum - Ubuntu 18.04 / DisplayLink product detected but no screen display yet

Hi everyone.

I've bought a USB 3.0 to Dual HDMI Adapter (USB32HD2 built by Startech) and I've read on the Web that some users seem to have it working by installing the DisplayLink's Ubuntu driver.

I've also installed this driver to my Ubuntu 18.04 system that is detecting the device correctly. But in spite of having plugged the HDMI cables to 2 monitors, there's nothing displayed or detected by these monitors. And Ubuntu doesn't detect additional screens.

Here's the informations I've collected to diagnose this issue:

As explained above, I've read that some peoples can have it working by installing the DisplayLink driver. But the Startech page specifications explains that the Chipset ID is "Trigger T6-688SL / Silicon Image - Sil9136-3". So there's still a big doubt in my mind about the relevance of searching for a solution in DisplayLink side. And the Startech company doesn't officially provide support for Linux on this product.

So my first question before anything else is:
Could someone here confirm that there's a DisplayLink component inside this USB32HD2 Startech device?
