DisplayLink USB Device had a problem because Windows cannot load the drivers required

I’m having issues with my Dell USB displaylink Dock (D3100) after a Windows 10 upgrade. I am not able to connect to my 2 external monitor via D3100 dock. I can see 4 instance of DisplayLink usb device all with yellow mark inside and with the error message “This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)“.

Laptop: DELL E5540
OS: Windows 10

Below is the error from Event Viewer

Device USB\VID_17E9&PID_436E&MI_00\7&1629ddc9&2&0000 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem62.inf
Class Guid: {4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
Service: WUDFRd
Lower Filters:
Upper Filters: IndirectKmd
Problem: 0x1F
Problem Status: 0xC0000001

Can someone guide me through to resolve this issue. Thanks.

There is a topic in the DisplayLink Knowledge base that mentions the condition you describe and a possible cause here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...-on-windows-10

The antivirus software have never interfere in the previous display link installations. Is there a way for me to troubleshoot this? or logs that I can review?

The display link software did not indicate any failed installation.

DisplayLink has a knowledge base article that covers how to report issues to them here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink
