Unable to install any DL software
 

Hello,

I am setting up a new laptop and trying to install DL as we use USB monitors. For some reason, DL won't install. It passes the system check, but hangs on "Installing Software: Configuring DisplayLink Core Software". It ends up locking up the whole computer if I try to close out or do anything else (such as click the taskbar or open Win Explorer). I've tried 9.0M0, 8.5M2, and 8.3M1 with all the same result. I end up having to force power off the laptop and reboot. I've also tried the DL cleaner tool, but this is a fresh install of Windows so I figured that wouldn't make a difference.

It is running Windows 7 Pro x64 and I have an identical laptop in rotation that installed it fine, so I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

Disregard...upon further investigation it seems there is some bigger issue with the Windows install. Apologies!
