No screen on start up of Mac mini
 

I have a Mac mini from 2019 running Catalina (with latest updates) and want to use a recently bought Wavlink docking station to use 2 screens using hdmi.
The docking station will also be used with MacBook Pro (2019) and HP laptop.

The docking station is running ok on the Macbook and HP laptop, but I cannot get the Mac mini working properly with both screens connected to the docking station.

I tried the classic Display Link driver (latest version) and also DisplayLinkManager with Login screen extension.

The dock works ok when starting with one screen connected to the Mac mini.
When it's started the second screen is working and re-connecting the first screen to the docking station also works fine.

But I cannot get my Mac started with both screens connected to the docking station.

Am I doing something wrong?

I’m having the exact issue, though my Mac mini is from late 2014. Does anyone know what the “login screen extension” is supposed to do?
