If Dell is not able to assist, then I would suggest following the steps outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink in order to report the issue to DisplayLink directly. |

Thanks rboerner for showing me the way.
Attached is the information collected on my system. I contacted Dell and support told me that it doesn't work because my USB-C port isn't a Thunderbolt type, but I don't think that's the case, as DisplayLink is supposed to work on any USB-C port, right? Or am I understanding it wrong? My laptop is a Lenovo ideapad Gaming 3i |
No. According to Dell, ony DP ports are DisplayLink-based. HDMI and USB-C uses USB-A Alternate mode.

If anyone has any idea what I can do to make it work on Linux, I would be grateful. |

Is your ud22 running the latest firmware? And also how did you reinstall the displaylink driver? |
