BPDU network errors w/ HP 3005pr USB 3.0 Port Replicator

Currently running DisplayLink Version: 7.6.55673.0

Has this been fixed? Note that this happened without my laptop being connected to the USB 3.0 port... just the HP 3005pr device powered on and connected to the network port.

As far as context, using the dock at a university office -- the IT department notified me of this issue, and sure enough I found someone else had the same problem. In the meantime, updated to 7.7 Beta2, but since I'm unsure if this is resolved I won't replug it in just yet...
