Hey I'm just posting here to make sure the technology works for what I require before making a purchase.

Basically. I have a gaming pc (rtx 3070ti, usb 3.2 a connector) that I am putting upstairs with 2 displays connected locally to the pc (1440p x2)

I also want to output the pc to my home cinema downstairs which has a 5.1 surround sound system and a 4k TV.

My plan is to use a displaylink downstairs to have the hdmi connect to the amplifier and the TV. This room would also need usb ports for the keyboard and mouse.

My concerns basically are:
Does this setup make sense?
A USB A connection from the PC is as capable as a USB-C that my pc does not have?
Could I plug my ethernet cable into the device to use as the main connection for my pc to the Internet? (would save me moving an extra cable upstairs.)
Does the device use the graphics card to it's full potetional to play games downstairs?

Thanks and please let me know if you need more info!
