HP Thunderbolt Dock G4, Ventura and Displaylink 1.8 installed.
I connected two screens (different type) with display port. Both work but both show the same. The configuration menu of my Macbook shows only one of the screens as I am not able to configure them separately. Is there any setting somewhere I have overseen?

According to the information here --> https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=4aa8-1295enw and here --> https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-thunderbolt-dock-120w-g4/2101085529/model/2101085539?sku=4J0A2AA the HP docking station you are using does NOT have DisplayLink technology inside of it. As a result, DisplayLink will not be able to assist you.

Based on your description of the behavior, the HP dock you are using has a DisplayPort MST hub inside of it in order to drive the displays. Mac's do not support DisplayPort MST, which is why your Mac only 'sees' one display and both are showing the same content.

Thank you so much. Finally I fully understood display link :-)
