Mac OS Monterey Soundproblems

Hi,

after Upgrading to Monterey today everything is working but sound is not playing through "USB 3.0 Displayport-Adapter". It worked on Big Sur.

The strange thing is: If I go into the sound-prefs on MacOS and select an "alert sound" the sound goes out of the Displayport-Adapter and I can hear it on my monitor. But the "normal" output sound (like youtube, netflix etc) is not working. So sound in general seams to work through the DP-Adapter but only the alert sound from Mac Os.

I just found out that sound is working but not in chrome. Chrome can't play sounds through the DisplayLink-Adapter since I updated to Monterey.

Okay, it now works after deleting cache in chrome.
