Hello all, I'm looking for a solution to extend 2 extra monitors in my laptop (3 in total with my laptop's), which is:

ASUS ROG GL552 (https://www.asus.com/us/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-GL552VW/specifications/) with:
- I7 6700HQ
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M (https://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gtx-960m/specifications)
- 16GB RAM

Ports:
- 2 USB 3.0
- 1 USB 3.0 Type C (No DP)
- 1 USB 2.0
- 1 HDMI

The monitors I want to connect are 2 DELL P2219H (https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-22-monitor-p2219h/apd/210-aqbk/monitors-monitor-accessories) with a max resolution of 1920x1080@60Hz

Neither monitor will be used on graphic intensive applications

I can connect one to the HDMI but for what I read because my Type C connection doesn't have a DP support, I can't just use a regular dongle. So I'm not sure which adapter/device is the right for me.

My preference is the simplest one, I just need the extra monitor, no additional ports and it will be great if it can be connected to the USB Type C port because I don't regularly use it, never used it before actually.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi ayepiz,

I presume you are using Windows, so I think any of our universal docking solutions will support your requirements - then you can plug your other monitor into the dock as well. The list of our universal docking solutions that support 2 monitors at Full HD resolution is here: https://www.displaylink.com/products/find?cat=1&res=1920x1080&num=2

The majority of these solutions support USB 3.0 type-A and type-C, so you could use them in whichever port you wanted.

Kind regards,
Andrew
