Hi All

I'm pleased to let you know we have our first alpha for macOS 10.13 available for download here:

http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=133

This release is a public preview of a macOS 10.13 High Sierra compatible software. It is meant to enable testing on the public betas of the new macOS version.
It should not be used on any production systems or systems containing valuable information.

This release delivers the following improvements

Compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13
Hardware acceleration on macOS 10.13 (on Metal compatible systems)
Increased video performance on macOS 10.13 (on Metal compatible systems)

This alpha release does not support OS X version 10.12.x and earlier. We expect the final v4.0.0 to support versions earlier than 10.13.

Limitations in macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Mirroring virtual screens is not currently supported in High Sierra. When attempting to mirror external screens, the Window Server may crash and/or all screens may blank.
"System Extension Blocked" message displayed after installation. This is expected since High Sierra due to a stricter security policy. This is covered by this article (http://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1188004).

After installation, macOS may require the DisplayLink system extension to be enabled in System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General. Click on Allow and restart the system.
In some cases the setting may not be correctly applied by the operating system. If that happens, install the software from the disk image (no uninstallation required) and restart the system. (25772)

Mac systems not supporting Metal will also be affected by the limitations in the following section. For a full list of compatible systems please see https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT205073
