I've been looking at buying 2 small USB monitors for my Flight sim setup but i've been very hesitant to take the leap so far. I know they are popular but i'm not entirely sure how well they would work with my system and what i'm wanting to use them for.
Essentially I'm looking at getting 2 7" touch monitors that will be controllers and displaying cockpit displays (therefore constantly updating) for different systems in the game. out of the game they will just be general displays.
I'm currently using an MSI GT72 with the following relevant specs
CPU: i7-6700HQ
GPU: GTX 970m
RAM: 24gb
OS: Windows 10 Home
I plan on hooking them up to a powered usb 2.0 hub which would be connected to a USB 3.0 port on my laptop.
I don't want to waste my money if there's going to be a significant performance drop, any input would be appreciated
Kind Regards.
