Hi,
I am using a System76 laptop (Galu) running Lubuntu 15.10 (Kernel 4.2.0-23). I just purchased a Dell D3100 dock (works like a charm in Windows 10).

Now I hook this up to the USB3 port of my system and run the latest driver (1.0.335).

Runs fine (though it complains kernel 4.x is not supported yet).
Fire up ARANDR (GUI for randr) and sure enough it shows the two external monitors connected to the dock (not active by default). I check the Active checkbox on both and try applying the configuration, but get the following error:

XRandR failed:
XRandR returned error code 1: X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 140 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 7 (RRSetScreenSize)
Value in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 50
Current serial number in output stream: 51

$ xrandr -q returns:

Would someone knowledgeable be kind enough to guide me, please?
