Hi, i am trying to get this working for a friend. He has a HP N4F21PA laptop, with windows 8.1 installed.
Ok, so the driver seems to install ok. I have tried a few of the drivers, ie letting windows find it, downloaded it from website and what not. They all do the same thing.
What they do is well.. nothing really. It makes the USB install icon flash down the bottom right of the screen, by flash i mean, it shows for a micro second then disappears(only when USB monitor cable attached). No second monitor shows up on the screen resolution screen.
In device manager, there is a USB graphics display and it says that it is installed and working properly.
Any ideas??
And also, the monitor has both HDMI and DVI. both dont work separately( ie usb to dvi, or usb to hdmi), but weid thing, when you plug HDMI out from laptop to monitr and USB to DVI to same monitor on the screen resolution screen it shows 3 monitors !!!
