EDIT: My apologies, this has turned out to be an issue with the OEM display drivers, not with DisplayLink specifically. I'm unable to delete the post.

I have a Dell Inspiron 5548 with a D3000 replicator. Every time that something happens that resets the DisplayLink service/drivers/whatevers my session is terminated. Every application that is running is terminated. It's as if "shutdown /l /f" was issued. I've confirmed this by:

Unplugging the D3000
Restarting the DisplayLink service
Connecting to an existing session via RDP that switches from a console session to RDP (or vice versa)
In DisplayLink Support Tool, clicking the buttons to enable verbose logging

I've been working around this by regularly logging off rather than locking the session, but this has already caused work to be lost.

I will follow up with logs soon.

Thanks,
Isaac
