Win8 screensaver not starting after DisplayLink installation

Hi,
I am using latest Lenovo DisplayLink Manager 7.760.366.0
Before installing I had a screeenaver to lock my ThinkPad T420, worked fine. But after installing and using a Lenovo USB-to-DVI adapter with the above mentioned software the screensaver does not start working. Everything else works fine.
Is this a bug or a feature? I want (and need) to lock my ThinkPad via screensaver.
Does anybody have the same problem? Any advice?

Sorry for late reply!
It is the standard built-in Win8 screensaver turning the screen blank/black (no fancy stuff).
Would be great if this would/could be fixed!

Can you try the latest DisplayLink software available here (http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/sla.php?fileid=165)?
Could you check if you have the latest graphics drivers installed?

If you still have this issue please post the output from this (http://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/533818-how-can-i-report-issues-to-displaylink) tool.
