I was given a Dell M3800 as my workstation, which doesn't really function well as a workstation, but that is another story.
I have a mouse and keyboard plugged in that support USB wake and both have the option enabled. My keyboard is plugged into the dock, the mouse is a Logitech wireless that has the Unifying receiver plugged into the laptop (not the dock).
When I put the laptop to sleep, I am able to wake it via keyboard or mouse.
If I undock (disconnect the USB 3.0 cable from the dock to the laptop) and then reconnect it, the keyboard will no longer wake the laptop.
The mouse will no longer wake the laptop it seems after a considerable amount of time (I take the laptop home at night, and it usually stays asleep in my bag). When I come into work, I would like to not have to open the laptop to turn it on and then close it (using two monitors connected to the dock and don't really have room for the laptop to sit opened).
Any help, tips, advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

Can you check if there is a BIOS update available for your PC?

This might help with the issue you're having.

Thanks,
James
