running win 8.1.1 on a Toshiba S-70-A laptop with Toshibas latest video drivers for Nvida and Intel.
Tried latest Nvida driver from their site and system crashes, reverted back to 3-14 Nvida driver from Toshiba

Can be just listening to music or surfing internet and it will all of a sudden lose ethernet connection. Of course my wireless kicks in, but have to re enable ethernet through network settings. Works usually a day or two then same problem.
Had originally switched to beta because of this problem.
I remember back with straight win 8.1 I didn't seem to have a problem.

How do you know you lose the Ethernet connection? Ethernet link lights go out on the dock? Has this ever worked as it could be a hardware problem or an unreliable cable that loses connection?

Would be great if I had thought to look at lights on Dynadock, didn't. Found out I had loss connection when I tried to open browser and couldn't connect to internet. Then noticed ethernet icon had disappeared in tray. Went into Network Settings and right clicked and re enabled ethernet connection. Has now worked a couple days so far.
As I said before, this has happened a few times

Brought this entire system, Toshiba laptop, Toshiba Dynalock in May 2014. Had to update Dynalock driver to work with Win 8.1, but worked fine for quite some time.
