I just bought Diamond BVU195 and got it today.
I installed the v2.1 driver and everything was working great.
I walked away from my MacMini OSX Server 10.8.5 for a while so it went to sleep.
When I back in it, I noticed my monitor that's plugged in to the BVU195 is still on the sleep mode.

This is what I did:
1. I unplugged the usb and replug; nothing
2. I replaced the usb cable with another one; nothing
3. I uninstalled the driver and reboot it; nothing
4. I unplugged the usb cable and reinstall the v2.1 driver;
5. I uninstalled the driver and install v2.2; nothing
6. I turned off the monitor and turn it back and did a rescan; nothing

I don't know what else to try.
It was working great before the mac mini went sleep.
If I go to the Displays, you can see that monitor in there and also the red light in the USB graphic card so I know it's being recognized.
It's just not producing signal to the monitor for some reason so my monitor is going to the save mode.

Any of the experts has any other suggestions?
Or I'm going to ship it back to Amazon and find another solution.

Much appreciated guys.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but this is what I did next and it was working.
Well, maybe until after my Mac mini goes to sleep again…

I reset the mac by pressing and hold CMD+ALT+P+R during start up.
I switched the cable to use the VGA cable and it works right away.
And then I switched it back to DVI cable and bam, it's back to normal.

Fingers crossed.
Hopefully I don't have to jump it all the time when the computer goes to sleep.
Or I might have to keep it on VGA all the time.
That would suck but I can live with it…
