Dear listers,
I have been attending to install DisplayLink, but so far no luck.
I would like to ask your kind assistance here since I need to set a monitor for my small daughter.
And support guy in Japanese market just asked me to wait, but I have to ship this soon since this is a part of presents!
Machine is Win8 JP (On Dell Latitude 10) I have tried with all three latest versions of DisplayLink.
Always, can not continue the installation with following message:
"Can not write the mirrordriver value on system.currentcontrolset.services.displaylinkga,de vice1(in Japanese)"
Ensure that you have enough access or contact support representative.
Does it mean I have no access right to modify or update setting on my Windows?
Although the machine runs under an administrator user.
In this occasion, which one has a problem here?
DisplayLink or Windows or Dell?
Kindly advice what can I do next, I have no idea, since I am a PC dumm.
I truly hope to hear from someone that can help otherwise I will have to return the monitor and look for something else that works!
