Hi,
I currently connect four (4) external monitors to my 64-bit Windows 7 laptop (it has NVidia GeForce 9300M), so 5 concurrent displays in total including the laptop screen. It is an old laptop (just over 3 years old) and has only two USB 2.0 ports.
1 monitor (1920x1200) is connected to the VGA port of the laptop while the 3 others (1920 x 1080) are connected via USB 2.0 DisplayLink devices.
I connect the DisplayLink USB devices to a powered USB hub.
My current USB DisplayLink devices maxes out at 1920x1080 resolution.
I am considering getting a Toshiba Dynadock U3.0 (despite all the other horror stories in this forum and in the Toshiba forum), so that I have to option to upgrade the 1080 monitors to a higher resolution monitor sometime in the future.
Can I connect the USB DisplayLink devices to the USB ports of the Toshiba Dynadock?
Thanks.
