I have semi-successfully been using Lion version 1.8 of the Display link driver.

While using the Driver there have been a lot of issues, that have lead me to believe the product driver to be not very stable.

These issues include 80% cpu usage from a application called display link in the activity monitor, a few system crashes while using the display link external monitor and the most obvious one is a massive decrease in performance when a non display link monitor is used (e.g an external monitor is used through the display port).

I have put up with the numerous of issues for a few weeks, but unfortunately the problem seems to have got worse, after a crash I assume was related to the display driver, the external display will not work at all.

I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it but that does not seem to work.
I have tried using your alpha / beta version 2 driver, but the installer actually crashes 10.7.5 when you press restart.

When I try and reinstall version 1.8 it complains that the software is signed with an invalid certificate?

Have you dropped support for mac os Lion or is something else at play here, not signing your latest stable release with a valid certificate seems inexcusable.

I have two Mac, and one of them has the 10.6 version, and the second has the 10.7.5.
With the 10.6, the DisplayLink works fine, but it does nothing with the 10.7.5.

The device is presented in the list of connected USB devices, but does not send any signal to the display. So, the display is sleeping, and Mac does not see an external display
