I have a HP Folio13-2000 that I've been using in a 3 monitor configuration and its been working perfectly (albeit a little slow) with a HP USB2.0 Port Replicator, one monitor on there (DisplayLink based) with another older USB2.0 Display Link (HP USB Graphics Adaptor) daisy chained off the USB2.0 port replicator and a newer StarTech USB32DVIPRO USB3.0 (DL3100 based) card plugged directly into the USB3.0 port on the HP Folio. The config as I say worked perfectly.

I've now managed to get an "upgrade" to a HP-3005PR USB3.0 Port Replicator, that has the capability to run two monitors (HDMI+DisplayPort), plus I've daisy chained the StarTech USB32DVIPRO USB3.0 based DisplayLink onto the port replicator.

The problem I have is with the daisy chained StarTech USB32DVIPRO device, that periodically freezes and has to be unplugged/replugged to get it back online, that monitor is my Browser monitor and it typically crashes during scroll operations.

I've upgraded the USB3.0 root hub drivers (Fresco Logic) from HPs site to the latest on there. My DisplayLink drivers are the latest 7.1M1 from the website (7.0.41409.0 in Device Manager) but to no avail, at least 3-4 times a day the third monitor will go down.

My config is as below:

HP Folio13-2000 (1x USB3.0 port, 1x USB2.0 port)
Win7 Pro SP1 64bit
Core i5-2467 (Dual Core 1.6GHz)
8GB RAM
3 Monitors (2 on USB3.0 Port replicator, 1 daisy chained onto the replicator)

Device Manager (USB Display Adaptors)
DisplayLink Display Adapter (4300)
DisplayLink Display Adapter (430A)
HP USB3.0 Port Replicator
USB32DVIPRO
All have the same driver version (7.0.4.41409.0)

Any ideas to get it working??

Many thanks
