Hello,

We purchased 70 Toshiba Dynadock U3's to go with Toshiba Z930's.
Although this may sound strange we have noticed syncronised freezing.

The laptop is still running however the external monitor has frozen along with network disconnection and the Dynadock device needs to be unplugged and re-connected.

Strangly the above senario will happen to 5-10 devices at exactly the same time. We may have this happen 4 times in one afternoon and then no further problems for 2-3 days.

When this occurs we don't have any issues with Power or Network on the other 100+ devices (desktops) which are plugged into the same switch/circuit. We have also noticed it happens on devices connected to different switches in different buildings (although all on the same network core)

We have tried upgrading the Intel USB3 drivers as well as upgrading the Dynadock drivers using displaylink_71M1.exe. I couldn't get a clear answer on if the firmware of the Dynadock could be updated and how.

We were deploying the Dynadock software via SCCM however since the issues have resorted to installing one by one...fun.

Any help would be appreciated

thanks

That is strange. The only thing that could synchronise the freezing is something coming in on the Ethernet port. Does it happen if Ethernet is disconnected?
