I am unable to use the Apple Display Calibrator Assistant with the display I have on DisplayLink. I'm using a Diamond BVUMD3.

If I plug the display in directly using the built in port on my MBP I can calibrate it, but it doesn't look the same once I plug it in via the Diamond and switching between color profiles doesn't hardly do anything. I see a slight change in brightness or gamma or something but nowhere near the difference when I have it plugged in direct.

Is this something that is being addressed?

I have been using the beta 2 driver and I just installed the beta 3 driver but it doesn't fix the issue.

I have this problem as well. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Colorsync requires OpenGL. At least that is what it looks like from reading the following: http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#technotes/tn/tn2035.html#TNTAG47

OpenGL graphics acceleration is not currently supported by the OS X driver. You can show your support for the feature in the following thread:

I'm experiencing the same problem. I'm using the HueyPRO calibration tool, and it works fine on my Macbook's primary display, and my display connected via mini-displayport to DVI, but doesn't seem to have any effect on the DisplayLink monitor. If I pick the Huey profile, it doesn't change the colors at all.
