I`m using a mac mini with os x 10.6.3 and displaylink driver ver 1.6

If I boot the machine with no monitor connected to the mini dvi and the mimo connected to an USB port, no video signal will be sent to the display via usb. As soon as I connect a display to the mini dvi port the mimo will function properly. Seems like os x 10.6.3 (and 10.6.4 also) do not autodetect the mimo on startup if no monitor is connected to the mini dvi port.

I did not experience this issue with os x 10.6.2 and the 1.5 display link driver.

Hi,
I'm using a new Mac mini (10.6.4) with a Lilliput USB screen that uses DisplayLink drivers (I've tried 1.5b3 and 1.6b2). I have the same issue that I want to use the USB monitor as the primary (/only) screen, but it won't activate on boot. It only comes up when a monitor is connected to the dvi/dp port.

Is there an easy solution, or even a workaround that I can use to force the displays to enable even when dvi is unconnected.
