View Full Version : Dell E6230 Will Not Shutdown

Have a number of new Dell E6230 laptops with a Toshiba U3 Dynadock. When the dock is connected to a USB 3 port and the OS (Windows 7) is Shutdown the laptop restarts instead. This does not occur when the dock is connected to the USB 2 port.
Have updated BIOS, device drivers and latest DisplayLink software but still have the issue.
Any ideas as to the issue?

Have now found the issue to be caused by the following BIOS setting:
-BIOS Setup
-Power Management
-Wake on LAN/WAN
If the value is not set to Disabled then the issue occurs.
