I understand that the current driver does not support DirectX 9 applications running in full screen mode. However, the current driver locks up the entire system so that even the USB monitor is not attached to the PC, I still cannot run DirectX 9 applications running in full screen mode. The current solution is to uninstall the driver when I need to run my application.
I suggest to add a function in the driver software to temporarily disable the Displaylink driver and release the screen control back to windows. This will save us a lot of time uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
