Hi, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E525 with a Lenovo USB 2.0 Port Replicator with Digital Video Model: VDK8736. I get an error after installing DisplayLink:

"Incompatible display driver. Displaylink USB Graphics software is not compatible with this graphics card or operating system. Please visit www.displaylink.com/software to check if a newer software version is available".

The OS is 64 bit Windows 7 and the graphics is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series.

I have tried every version of Displaylink available on the web page with no luck.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Thanks for the information Wim, windows update was telling me the best driver for the display was already being used (Standard VGA display driver)

But that did not sound like the best driver for the HD card installed, so I downloaded the manufacturer's (ATI) correct driver and it works like a charm.

I assumed since Windows Update was telling me the best driver was being used it should be WDDM, this appears not to be the case.
