I upgraded to Lion about a month ago and the Display Adapter connected Display works mostly but with strangeness....

1) On start up the Display connected to the DisplayLink adapter does not come alive until well after the user is logged in..... a couple of minutes sometimes.

2) The DisplayLink install software often but not allows suddenly comes into view as if it has newly downloaded an update and wants me to install it..... but I have not done anything to intentionally inspire a check of the software and it is my belief that I have the most current release installed...

8 December 2011 release but installer date 2 Dec 2011

3) My machine hiccups on shutdown complaining in the logs about various things preventing a clean shutdown process.... The logs are called things like....

DisplayLinkManager_2012-01-16-232224_localhost.crash
but one per shutdown that is called things like
diskarbitrationd,DiskWarriorDaemon,java,pcscd,raid man-httpsd,sh,_2012-02-02-135608_localhost.shutdownStall

These shutdownStall logs I believe are telling me what processes are not shutting down fast enough or at all after a call by the OS to "Shutdown"

Now.... I can live with these issues but I wonder if they are related to DisplayLink or intersect with the different nature of the startup of the DisplayLink display and the installer appearing for no clear reason.
