I tried uninstalling the DisplayLink driver and installing both 2.4 as well as the 2.5 Beta and both yield the same result.

If I bypass the Display Adapter, the Plasma TV looks fine.

I went to BestBuy and purchased a J5 USB to HDMI Display Adapter and it is showing the same issue as well.

I can't seem to figure this one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
"Crazy green lines" sounds very much like digital noise. Probably cable too long or too many connectors in the way.

I just posted a screenshot but I guess the reply has to be moderated first.

Yes this is definitely a hardware issue.
By the look of it not so sure about a signal issue, seems more a memory problem maybe in the scaler of the TV?
To rule out cables I'd use a different, short cable with no adapters. If that does not change the result then the TV has a problem, hopefully only for that input.

I can connect the Mac to our Kramer Switcher using the same HDMI cable and it works just fine.
