Default U3DUALADA Ubuntu 16.04.1

Installed "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 1.2.1.zip" from here:
http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/ubuntu
(versioning doesn't exactly match file names - please check the links on your web).

NOT WORKING:
Device listed in lsusb, blue LED USB burning.
When (un-)plugging DVI, VGA and HDMI cables to different displays,
DVI/HDMI LED goes on, all monitors blink but no signal goes out.
Can't see the new monitor in xrandr.

Tried also "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 1.1.68.zip".
Same result.

Attached 2 logs.
Please help.

Ubuntu driver is not compatible with proprietary NVIDIA drivers, we need an accompanying GPU module that's fully DRM/KMS-compliant - like nouveau.

But where is it available for download and how do I install it?
