Default Surface Pro 3 / Plugable UD-3900 / RDP Slow (Solution)

For months, Things were great while I've used a Plugable UD-3900 Dock with my Surface II, and also with ASUS VivoTab Note 8. Mostly to connect to my monitor while RDP'ing to my Office PC. (using VPN & RDP).

This week I connected my Surface Pro 3 to the Dock. It was fine while connecting to the Monitor, but the minute RDP starts, it's been Incredibly Sloooow! [on the virtual RDP window only. The direct monitor connection is still fine)
So I tested the ASUS again, and it was fine. Then Noticed that the ASUS is using much older drivers (v. 7.6MO), whereas the SP3 is using the Latest DisplayLink drivers. (7.6M2)

Switched the SP3 to v. 7.6MO -- and it seems to be running much smoother. Fingers crossed.

Default Disregard earlier post - found Real solution

Scratch that post. The problem persisted, and after some more investigating, it turns out the culprit was Verizon DSL.
Somehow, this device (Surface Pro 3) is getting throttled, or limited, only while connected over RDP/VPN. But it doesn't happen while using my Surface Pro I, or ASUS Tablet, or Phone, or Android Tablet with Kitkat.

(to test it out -- I used my phone's Hotspot to connect and it was Fine!)

Have run into similar weird issues w/ Verizon DSL b4. Dropping them this week.

Sorry for the false alarm. The DisplayLink drivers were Not to blame.
