Display is an AOC Agon 27" LED (AG271QX)
lsusb reveals DisplayLink device.

Default BVU5500H - log file from DLSupportTool

Here is the zip created from the tool. You'll see xrandr.txt has no entry for the monitor.
I have 2 AOC monitors, one is connected from the HDMI jack on my laptop. For the other monitor I want to use the BVU5500H.

Do you have secure boot enabled? I do not see any signs of evdi kernel module loaded.

Cheers,
Michal

Default Secure boot enabled

There is an entry in /sys/firmware/efi which would not be present if it was booted in normal BIOS.

If you do use secure boot, make sure you sign evdi so it can be loaded. See the red important note in the sticky post in this forum.

Cheers,
Michal
