Unhappy Enable DisplayLink on iMX8 series board

hello community members,

I came across DisplayLink shortwhile when I have to connect a display device to my USB supported iMX8 board, which is a embedded linux based Single Board Computer. I am using a "plugable" based UGA-2KHDMI USB to HDMI adapter. I am connecting the monitor screen HDMI cable to "plugable" adapter, and then connecting it to the USB 2.0 port of iMX8 SBC. Since, it is used to detect the USB device, not able to generate the output on the display monitor.

What I have done till yet, I have cross-compiled the evdi source code from the github source repo "https://github.com/DisplayLink/evdi/tree/main/module" and generated the .ko (kernel object) file and inserting the module after the system is boot up. But still unable to get the active screen on the monitor screen. It is always in the sleep mode.

To solve the issue, can you please let me know that what are the different components that are available in the DisplayLink driver that are available for the Ubuntu systems, which can be used to get the USB to HDMI adapter running. Since, DisplayLink driver is present in the Linux Kernel 5.15, so I need some extra components from DisplayLink which can connects the things (what I feel is evdi module).

Please let me know how can I build the DisplayLink driver to support the arm64 based linux SBC board.

Thanks.
