Problem with DisplayLink after update: ubuntu 14.04
I installed the Linux driver to use the Dell docking station D3100 a few weeks ago and everything was working fine,... until my last update of the OS yesterday. I am running ubuntu 14.04 on a Dell Latitude E5250. This morning, the external monitor connected to the docking station is not working anymore. Actually, the docking station itself is not recognised.
dmesg now gives: [ 442.320440] evdi: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel [ 442.321117] [ ] evdi_init Initialising logging on level 5 The docking system is not found by lsusb: Bus 003 Device 003: ID 1bcf:28ae Sunplus Innovation Technology Inc. Thanks! I attach the log file from /var/log/displaylink/ |
