Problem with DisplayLink after update: ubuntu 14.04
I installed the Linux driver to use the Dell docking station D3100 a few weeks ago and everything was working fine,... until my last update of the OS yesterday. I am running ubuntu 14.04 on a Dell Latitude E5250. This morning, the external monitor connected to the docking station is not working anymore. Actually, the docking station itself is not recognised.

Have you tried to reinstall DisplyLink software? In particular the following sequence does this: Code:
sudo ./displaylink-driver-1.0.138.run uninstall reboot sudo ./displaylink-driver-1.0.138.run Szymon |
